One app for Muslim life

Prayer, the Quran, study, community and halal food, together, done properly, and free.

Why we built it

Where the Ummah lives

Ya Habibi brings the whole of Muslim life into one place, built to be checked and honest about its working.

We are not like the other apps. Every prayer time shows the calculation behind it. Every lesson names its source and gives each school's position. The Quran is never machine translated. And the scholar tick beside a name means a person read the documents and telephoned the institution, not that a form was filled.

See everything the app does, feature by feature, read about Ya Habibi and the standards it is built under, or find your answer on the support pages.

The standard

Built to be checked

These are not features; they are the rules the app is built under.

01

Show the working

Every prayer time opens the calculation behind it: the method, the angle, your coordinates, the rule applied.

02

Cite the source

Every lesson names the work it came from and gives each school's position, rather than choosing one for you.

03

Never translate scripture by machine

The Quran is shown in Arabic until a licensed published translation exists for your language. No exceptions.

04

A person checks

The scholar tick means somebody read the documents and telephoned the institution. It cannot be bought.
